Before I go any further I need to tell you who I am. My name is Steve. My wife is Kate, the webmaster-creator of Prime Real Estate Articles and author of Ask Kate™.

But first, a little more about Kate and me. In 1978, I owned a carpet installation business. I was 27 years old and we had 4 children between 1 and 7.

My knees were already beginning to deteriorate due to the wear and tear of lifting carpet rolls and crawling around on the hard floors installing carpet. I knew my knees wouldn't last much longer and began to search for other ways to support my growing family.

We were living in Long Beach, California and real estate was a hot, hot commodity. That's probably one of the reasons I was drawn to get my agent's license - to see if I could make a living doing something different.

It turned out to be tough because the whole country was soon enveloped in the Lincoln Savings and Loan Crisis that took down the entire real estate market. It was very similar to our recent recession.

Never the less, Kate soon followed me into real estate and in about 1985 we turned to mortgage lending. We eventually formed our own mortgage company, CFG Mortgage Services.

Relevance To Site Build It!

After moving to be nearer our daughters, we began a new business. We knew the internet was going to be an incredible vehicle for spreading quality information and would create many millionaires.

We had no experience but were willing to take a chance.

So we jumped in with both feet and created two websites with the intention of helping people better understand the intricacies of real estate and mortgage lending.

If you are thinking this is an interesting story but questioning its relevance to Site Build It!... here is my answer.

First, I want you to know that Kate and I are not novices at building successful businesses.

Second, Site Build It! is not some get-rich-quick scheme. In fact, if you are looking to get rich quickly, you should probably stop reading now and look elsewhere.

In the title to this review, I called Site Build It! the answer to the Great Recession. Why?

Here's a little history. During the greatest recession of all, The Great Depression, something happened not often talked about. The Great Depression created a lot of millionaires.

You might be wondering how that can be. I'm going to quote one of my favorite authors here. His name is Napoleon Hill. Here is what he said:

"Every adversity brings with it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit."

He also coined the phrase,

"What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."

Before writing his book Think and Grow Rich, one of the bestselling books of all time, Hill interviewed most of the richest and most famous people of the day.

So why did Hill title his book Think and Grow Rich? Because after interviewing the financial giants of his time, he learned that getting rich wasn't about how well the economy is doing. Rich people have a certain mind set. They think differently.

So that brings us back to asking how so many Americans become millionaires during the Great Depression. You have your answer. They saw opportunity where there was adversity. In other words, they thought differently about the Great Depression.

I could go on but I'm not going to. I already told you I am biased. Do I hope you will simply take the next step and watch how Site Build It! website owners tell in their own videos how SBI! has changed their lives? Yes!
