Hi! My name is Kate Ford and I'm a real estate and mortgage insider. You might also know me as Ask Kate or even Super Kate. It was just a few years ago that an injury prevented me from remaining in mortgage lending.

Kate Ford and the Dream of Homeownership

My extensive real estate and mortgage background, and most importantly having owned my own mortgage company, had afforded me unique insight into homeownership.

But after I was unable to continue originating mortgages, I didn't want my knowledge or experience to go to waste.

So I began hunting for another way to continue helping people with the dream of homeownership. With this purpose in mind, I first began designing a website Get Your Best Mortgage Rate to teach homeowners and home buyers how to get the best interest rates at the lowest cost.

Along with its great success, I also published nearly 100 articles for home buyers leading to the birth of this website, Prime Real Estate Articles.

Speeding up to the present, most anyone can use a helping hand. Especially these days! So I'm inviting you to learn from me about buying a first home, financing your house and refinancing your mortgage.

Surprise... Ask Kate!

Like many times in life, we set off in one direction but end up in another. This website is no different. It started out as an article website but engendered so many questions from Readers that Ask Kate™ has become the heart and soul of Prime Real Estate Articles.

You may already have heard of Ask Kate where every mortgage and real estate question is a good question. Visitors to my websites know they receive a personal answer from me on a dedicated web page they can share with their friends!

I had a lot of fun when I originated mortgages. In fact, due to my relentless pursuit of mortgage approvals, Realtors and home buyers often called me Kate the Great.

Thinking recently about my nickname, I got the idea of creating an alter ego, Super Kate. It made sense because I've always wanted to wear a red cape and leap tall buildings!

So now I send out Super Kate into the stratosphere, searching for unique and new ideas to help you build wealth and maintain homeownership.
